Patsy's Protrait I -Vintage look
Patsy's portrait shots were taken on my last makeup artistry excursion to the Taipei office. We came up with 2 different bridal styles for her. The first style embraces a natural look, complete with vintage red lipstick and a 30's revival hairdo. The 2nd style has slight smoky eye-makeup and an elegant updo, topped with an imperial crown.
1st bridal style gave Patsy a sweet, sexy appreance. We used natural, clean-looking makeup with deep red lipstick to demonstrate her innate womanly elegance.
For Patsy's bridal hairdo, we swept her hair back into a low updo, held in place with some dazzling accessories. Combined with her bridal makeup, we felt this bridal look appeared very suitable for a bride selecting to wear a traditional Chinese or Cantonese-origin wedding garment (Qipao or Gua) during her tea party ceremony.

Sweet Lizzy's wedding in San Francisco
It has been great working with Lizzy. I felt relaxed though I continuously did makeup and hair for her two moms, two bridesmaids and finally she in 7 hours before the ceremony.
Airbrush makeup technique made her look glossy, and its long-lasting formula kept her flawless till the end of party. She had two hairstyling: elegant updo for ceremony and romantic side-down for the party. I found she photoed beautifully, especially pretty much looked like a Taiwanese celebrity, Aimee Sun after makeup.

Coco's wedding in Santa Cruz CA
Coco reserved my bridal makeup and hairstyling service without the trial run. We communicated with each other through mails and few calls. She knew what she wanted for her wedding looks, so I could well prepare my tool kits, of course, including the right color of hair extensions.
In her big day, I quickly completed her two moms' makeup and hair, and also her pretty bridesmaid's . The final 3 hours, I had plenty of time focusing on her and tried my best to make her become a brilliant princess. It's so honorable that Coco likes her two wedding looks.

Selina is amazing.
I had a horrendous make-up trial with an esteemed local bridal salon, and after almost giving up on finding a makeup artist/hair stylist (I planned my wedding from the east coast), I found Selina on Yelp.
Selina was fast to respond and very flexible on scheduling. I insisted on a trial run due to my horrific experience earlier, and the only time I had available was the day before my wedding! It was basically a blind bet, but I sure am glad I did.
For my trial run, I went to Selina's pretty house where she had a personal station of all sorts of makeup, hair styles, etc. She was extremely attentive to my requests, my concerns and exactly what I needed (eg. double eyelid tape, bigger eyes, flat eyebrown, etc.) She didn't judge at all, and was extremely complimentary throughout the entire trial. I ended up looking like a doll, and kept the same hair & makeup to my rehearsal dinner where I received a lot of compliments.
Now, wedding day... I have 8 bridesmaids and 2 moms, so needless to say, Selina and her assistant needed to work very fast. They were there right on time and brought a very good attitude! We weren't so organized on our end, but Selina was very helpful and flexible. They worked magic on all of my ladies, and finally when it was my turn, Selina's spent extra attention and was very careful, asking me for feedback as she continued. We used airbrush and wow, the effects are amazing! Selina is really good with making you look prettier, but still make it look effortless and look like yourself, just 100x prettier. I have stubborn straight hair (Selina says it's "too healthy") and they spent extra time on my hair to tame it, and eventually made it into a SUPER beautiful braided bun.
Selina & her assistant came with us to my wedding venue and stayed until the ceremony was over, where they quickly turned my look around to an "evening look" which meant touch-ups, heavier eye makeup, and a loosely braided fully let-down hair. I loved both looks so much.
All in all, Selina is so amazing and I can't thank her enough for making me look much more beautiful than my expectations!! All of the photos are for a lifetime, and I am sure when I'm 80, I'll look back at these pictures and think, "wow, i was so pretty back then!!" all thanks to Selina & her assistant :)

Beautiful Joanna's big Day!
Joanna is a very lovely and nice girl, whom was introduced to me by one of my devoted friends. In the beginning, we connect each other through mails because of her busy job in the high-tech company. One week before her wedding, we met in my studio in Taipei, and made a slight makeup trial as well as telling her important notices for bridal makeup, hairstyling and etc.
On that day, her husband brought the flower bouquet to Joanna and spoke the pledge of love in front us. I was so moved, even though I heard thousands of time that kind of sentences.

嘉玲的藝術照是在台北工作室的最後一個告別作品。總共幫她做了2個造型: 第一個是淡妝配上鮮艷紅唇，搭配30年代的復古髮型。第二個造型，強調眼妝和眼型，半煙燻眼妝，再加上梳高髮髻配上女王般的皇冠。
第一個造型是性感可愛風格。自然清新的妝感配上鮮艷欲滴的紅唇，展現女性的古典美。在髮型上，梳低的髮髻和柔美的妝感，其實是非常適合新娘選擇旗袍，或者華(廣東地區)做為文定儀式的禮服。

Lots of photographers endorse that such flawless makeup save their time on photo retouching, and clients love it, too. Beautiful Joanna's big Day!
Joanna is a very lovely and nice girl, whom was introduced to me by one of my devoted friends. In the beginning, we connect each other through mails because of her busy job in the high-tech company. One week before her wedding, we met in my studio in Taipei, and made a slight makeup trial as well as telling her important notices for bridal makeup, hairstyling and etc.
On that day, her husband brought the flower bouquet to Joanna and spoke the pledge of love in front us. I was so moved, even though I heard thousands of time that kind of sentences.

華麗巴洛克~小漁
很愛拍照的小漁，是從高雄嫁到台北來的可愛女生，年紀很輕，是個漂亮的輕熟女。很可惜，婚紗照和文定的妝都沒有把她的氣質和美麗給展現出來，所以原本台北的宴客對Selina也沒有抱著太大的幻想能夠有多美麗。結果在白紗迎娶妝完成後，每個親友都讚不決口，尤其是小漁的老公，一直跟我道謝........

Long-lasting airbrushing makeup 不掉妝:噴槍彩妝
噴槍彩妝在歐美已經發展一段很長時間，近幾年才傳到台灣來，有造型師開始推廣這一類的產品，受過專業訓練的寥寥無幾。目前歐美的噴槍彩妝，已經可以做到完成整張臉的彩妝，包括T字部位打亮、眼妝、修容、腮紅，不止是底妝而已！此外，噴槍的粉底也有分成水基底和矽膠底，兩種材質。矽膠基底的噴槍底妝對於容易脫妝、膚況敏感、毛細孔粗大或油性肌膚的新娘而言，絕對是維持不脫妝的唯一方法。而市面上的安瓶，大部份只是由水組成的保養品，對於控油和定妝的效果非常有限，再加上並不是新人平常用習慣的保養品，膚質狀況差的新人沒有辦法馬上吸收，反而容易產生反效果，要長時間維持漂亮的妝感是有困難！
照片中的model，有毛孔粗大和油性肌的困擾。但是使用噴槍彩妝，從上妝到拍照的十幾過小時過程中，沒有補過任何的妝，只有變換髮型和禮服！她還告訴Selina從工作室離開後，繼續逛街也沒掉妝~

加州Santa Cruz 戶外婚禮
Angel是個活潑、善良、體貼的漂亮女生^^。早在今年的四月已經先在台灣宴請不克前來美國的親友。舉行婚禮的地點是加州的渡假勝地Santa Cruz的一間優美飯店，往飯店的彎延小道上，可以隨處看到麋鹿在漫步，好有詩意的一個地方。
Angel本身的五官就很美，不需要過多的眼妝即可襯托出她的氣質。原本她已經付了訂金給日籍的化妝師，但是回台宴客後，發現台灣的造型師很厲害，短時間內可以變出一個造型，她放棄了已經付款的訂金，一定要找台灣的造型師！
Angel有六個可愛的伴娘，每一個都很重視新娘，努力的把自己妝扮地很美，可愛的她一直在化妝的過程中說身邊的六個伴娘化得比她美要幹掉她！其實不用擔心，她的白紗是羽毛做的，相當的美，她一穿上白紗之後，真的就人如其名：美得冒泡的天使~
美麗的白紗配上玫瑰花是非常典雅的組合。為了讓Angel放心，鮮花的製作是Selina前一天晚上趕工完成；亮晶晶的頭紗也是為了配合Angel的白紗，前一個星期努力做出來的…… ^^
化完妝做完造型之後，飯店的經理和其他的親友們一直稱讚Angel像是從雜誌中走出來的美麗新娘! 在美國的婚禮是互動式的，婚宴都是新人和賓客玩在一起。第二個白紗造型是Angel硬擠出15分鐘給Selina幫她變髮型，方便她跳舞和接下來的活動。

從國外回台灣辦婚禮該怎麼安排
Selina服務過許多國外的新人， 一年之中也有約半年的時間是在美國服務新人， 以下是我的經驗提供給國外的新人做參考:
在台灣宴客和在歐美不一樣，如果是比較傳統的家庭會注重習俗和儀式，這時候，國外回台灣的新人會比較麻煩，需要發揮網路超強的搜尋功能，同時也要請台灣的親友多多幫忙才有辦法順利地安排你的婚禮，安排的順序: 餐廳 > 新秘 > 婚攝 > 婚紗公司 > 喜餅和其它是排在比較後面。
由於你們是在國外, 我會建議你把所有的賓客集中在同一天宴客,才不會讓你在短短的兩到三個星期內，感覺重覆做同一件事：辦了好幾天的喜事！盡量精簡，多的時間你們可以拿去蜜月，除非你們的婚假很長，無所謂！
1. 所有的儀式安排在同一天：不管是訂婚、結婚、歸寧或補請……等，如果長輩同意，盡量選在同一天完成，雖然很累，但是一天就過了。
2. 婚紗：大部份新人都很注意婚紗，因為婚紗照中的你是完美的公主和王子。你可以選擇在國外拍,參考我的一位美國新人做法【美國是自然風格http://verywed.com/blog/7541】，台式婚紗大多是浪漫唯美為主，當然也有新人喜歡搞怪創意，全看個人喜好! 如果是要在台灣拍, 多多上婚禮網站，在網站上瀏覽的過程中,你會發現很多新人會分享他們的婚紗照和婚紗公司打交道的過程，同一間婚紗店的評價可能有好有壞，找一間你喜歡的,評價也好多過壞的婚紗店因為你要去很多次，包括挑選拍照禮服、拍照當天、挑婚紗毛片、修圖、校稿、挑宴客禮服………等。請親友幫你附訂金及敲定拍照時間，由於你的時間相當趕，所以一定要跟婚紗公司告知你的狀況，有些東西你可能要取捨，重點是，即使你不滿意婚紗照你也沒機會重拍！簽約的時候要看清楚內容，小心有陷阱，有些惡劣的婚紗業者會用許多模糊不清的術語帶過重要的細節，畢竟大家都是沒有經驗的新人，小心一點會讓你有遺憾的機率降低!所以，我會建議你學學我很多的新人，在國外先拍一組，滿意就不用在台灣拍，不滿意在台灣有2nd chance，前提是你要有夠深的口袋！
3.新秘老師：我自己是新秘老師，我的新人似乎手腳動作都很快，最遲的都是半年前就預約了，當然有些在不熱門的零散時間結婚的新人就可以不必跟別人搶，可以慢慢選。請提早一點預約你喜歡的老師，並且和她好好溝通你想要的感覺，免得婚宴上的造型你不滿意。VW上有句新人常講的話:【好的新秘讓你上天堂】
4.婚攝大哥：請找可靠又有作品可以參考！有不肖業者，在你人生重要的時候遲到、消失、找槍手代替、甚至弄丟你的照片，在婚禮網站上多比較幾位， 每個人的手法不一樣，不是拿專業的相機就是婚攝，拍完照之後的後製和完成照片的程序也很麻煩，但很重要。請找專業的攝影師讓你的人生留下一個美麗的回憶！
5.喜餅和其他的習俗：如果可以的話，請長輩代勞，會省去很多的時間！至於台灣新人貼心準備的小禮物、宴客或迎娶遊戲、成長MV、美侖美奐的婚佈…..能簡化就簡化，不想簡化就請在國外先行置作！
