Jennifer's Prewedding Photo Session in Watsonville, CA
Jennifer and her husband found a pretty balck horse for their prewedding session, so we went to Watsonville almost a day for the shooting. Both Jennifer and I had a great fun during shooting. I not only did her prewedding makeup and hair but also her wedding look. Thank you, Jennifer!

The Retro Party Look
My friend, Stacy reserved a hairstyling service for his husband's official event. She just told me to quickly and simply up do her hair by phone. When she came to my studio, she has already worn her dress and light makeup. Her party theme was The Great Gatsby, the era in 1925. A retro and chic hairstyling would definitely make her like a start in the party!

Vicky and Kevin's Pre-wedding in SF City Hall
Photographer Linda Liu recommends me to this sweet couple, Vicky and Kevin. Vicky came from Shanxi to start a new life with Kevin, her beloved husband. I did Vicky’s bridal makeup and hairstyling for her pre-wedding and reception. She has pretty facial features, deep-set eyes, and smooth skin. If I did not pay attention to the trait, I might apply the wrong makeup which could make her look older. She isn’t pleased with her pre-wedding photos taken in China, so she selected San Francisco City Hall for the second pre-wedding photo session before the reception. I designed a romantic sleek and curly updo for her to match city hall’s calm and classic scene. For her wedding ceremony in a historic church the other day, I braided all her hair up with a delicate tiara. She loves all the bridal makeup and hairstyling I did for her.

小雷和小羅是攝影師Linda Liu介紹的新人。小雷為愛走天涯，從中國山西遠嫁到美國舊金山，離開她熟悉的環境，重新開始生活。他們倆的婚紗照和婚禮當天的新娘化妝以及宴客髮型都是我服務。小雷有立體五官，深遂的眼窩，和白晰皮膚。因此稍微不注意她的特點，不適合的妝不但無法讓她看起來更加亮麗，可能還更加老氣。
她不滿意在中國拍的婚紗照，所以特別在美國的婚禮前選在加州美麗的舊金山市政廳拍婚紗照。在新娘髮型的部份，在舊金山市證廳拍照時，為搭配場景和臉型，幫她梳了個浪漫捲髮包頭。結婚當天的新娘髮型，則是將她整個頭髮給編起來，是相當復古高雅的宴會髮型，很適合她的教堂儀式。祝福小雷和小羅新婚愉快!

Bridal Makeup and Hair for Wendy and Tim's Wedding in SF Bay Area
Wendy was one of those rare brides who looks gorgeous without wearing any makeup. Her skin is smooth; she has delicate facial features, and she’s rather tall. For this kind of exquisite beauty, all she needs is the simple application of some foundation to add an extra touch of beauty. When styling her bridal hair and wedding makeup, it was especially necessary to pay special attention to her temperament. Otherwise, any excessive makeup or hairstyling could have easily damaged her natural beauty.
For this new bride, a thin layer of airbrush foundation was enough. I layered her eyes with a faint hint of Korean style eyeshadow, emphasizing and widening the dimensions of her eyes. She didn’t like the typical over-the-top bridal hairstyles, preferring a simple, elegant half-princess hairdo. This hairstyle was well suited for her relatively small, yet beautiful wedding. Although seemingly rather simple, every step of the styling process – from the curvature of her hair to the layers of curls and the matching jewelry – all required a solid foundational layer and extremely careful planning to achieve a beautiful finished look. Thank you to Wendy for sharing her wedding photos. While she couldn’t leave a public review for professional reasons, hearing her thankfulness was already gratifying enough. Wish Wendy and Tim a very happy and long life together.
Wendy是少數幾個素顏也漂亮的新娘。她的皮膚好、五官精緻、身材高挑，甚至比我化妝過的某些模特兒還漂亮。這種美女型的新娘，只需略施粉脂，就能顯出她的美，所以在化新娘妝及做新娘髮型時，要特別注意，只強調她的氣質，不能讓過度的彩妝和髮型破壞她原本的優點。
她的新娘底妝只有薄薄的一層噴槍粉底就足夠，眼妝就韓式的淡淡眼影，但強調她的眼神和立體度。她不喜歡誇張的髮型，所以簡單大方的半公主頭很適合她小而美的婚禮。簡單的髮型看似簡單，但是整個髮型的弧度、捲髮的線條和搭配的飾品….等，每個步驟需要紮實的底子和細心，才能完成漂亮的新娘造型。謝謝Wendy分享的照片。雖然工作的關係，無法在公開的媒體留下評價，但是你的一句謝謝已經讓我很窩心。祝福你和Tim白頭偕老。
